Before I could even read, I inherently knew that stories held power over us. Around the age of five, I went through a phase where I would carry “A Wrinkle in Time” with me everywhere I went. On long car rides, I would sit quietly, much to my parents' delight, and diligently stare at the words on the page. I knew one day they would reveal their secrets to me.
Now, as an adult and an avid reader, I believe storytelling is the most natural and effective way to communicate. Stories have the ability to transport us to places we’ve never been and unite us with people we have never even laid eyes on. Well-crafted communications not only allow us to share our ideas, values, and beliefs with other people, but they are the foundation of all fruitful relationships that can—and often do—change our world.
